Well it does make a noise when flushed, no getting away from that. Only lasted for seconds and not the end of the world. To reduce the unit from running, try to fit, if possible, the wastes from hand basin etc, into the outlet from the sanicompact, this is of course subject to the waste from the sanicompact running down hill to the soil stack.

Not sure if this is the right place to contact you but I wanted to ask a question about your sanicompact. Im fitting a cloakroom for my father but he's worried about the noise from the sanicompact unit. We cant find one as a working display to assess. Would you say they are noisy in use?
