Evening mate, you seem to be very knowledgeable about the FW-100 Weather comp. I wondered if you'd ever fitted one with a Gledhill Stainless Lite Solar 300??

My installer was finishing off tonight and had a fitting problem with the cylinder temp probe from the FW-100 running into the cylinder. Basically it wont fit far enough into the cylinder port to give an accurate reading. The boiler is set to a hot water temp of 60 but without the correct temp being translated back to the FW-100 the actual water temp is 70+

Have you come across this problem before, is there an adaptor or any work around?

I appreciate that this is the fitters problem but with it being in my house I would like to try and help to resolve the problem and thought I'd call on the pros before he returns again tomorrow...
