hi joe, I am new to diy not. we live in Southampton and have purchased a airey house in holbeach moving in app 4 weeks, I have done as much research on the houses and still very impressed with them. in one of your threads you mentioned you had plans re the airey houses . may I ask is it possible for you to supply me with any information you may have.

Hi Joe... My name is Sam Washington. I have just read, with interest, your debate about mis-diagnosis of rising damp. I am in the process of buying a house and have just had a survey done on the property. It is the ground floor of a period property so, not entirely unsurprisingly, there was some evidence of damp. I was wondering if you would mind if I called on your expert advice in helping me to decipher the wording in the surveyors report regarding the dampness.
