Hi, yes we've completed a few roofs in East Barnet. We do not normally provide scaffolding so I wouldn't feel confident employing a local firm that I have no previous knowledge of. If you're satisfied with the firm for the chimney repair then they might be best for the scaffolding for the roof. Hope this helps.

Hi there, the cost of supplying and installing the zinc would be around £3000 plus vat. As for the insulation you have lots of options- you can fit as much as possible in between the joists and as much as possible on top of the roof but this is where costs can escalate. Zinc can be fitted directly on top of insulation so there isn't a problem in that sense. You could save money doing all the build up work yourself and I could just fit the zinc? I'm happy to offer any advice you just have to ask
