I'm in nottingham. What about you? When you say check the hot water pipes, do you mean the pipes as in the ones that are running to radiators etc. Just to add, the issue is consistent even when the heating is on. I've just ran the hot water and checked all pipes. The only pipe that was hot is the hot water feed from the boiler. All others around the house were cold.
The guy did check the diaphragm which was good
The push rod drops off the micro switch when the burner cuts out.

hope you are well
i have a baxi 105e combi with an ongoing issue.
the hot water only lasts a very short while and then keeps going cold. i had a plumber out last year before Christmas who had a look and temporarily cured the issue for a couple of months.Its getting to that time of year again where its getting chilly so i need to sort it out.
Apparently the plumber cleaned the heating plate out ??????? thats what he told my partner as she was here when he did it. Could you advise me on this issue please??
