Hello I have just moved into a 1902 terrace.
I’ve removed the old gas fire and exposed a couple of bodged lintels and found the original arch.
Can anyone advise if they think it would be okay to remove these two lintels and new bricks back to the original arch and bricks at the side.
If so...
Hi
We removed the part of the chimney in our bathroom last year. (Did inform the neighbours) and the reminder was supported by the gallows brackets etc... neighbour was happy for us to remove the part of the chimney and all hunky dory. Build control passed the inspection and got the Completion...
I have recently removed loads of chimney breast from the ground and first floor in my property. On the first floor and in the loft, the breast wasn't tied into the party wall so it was very easy to remove. Downstairs the breast was tied in to the random rubble wall and removing it was a...

Does anyone know what that is if I can make it redundant.
Thanks in advance
