how to finish an mdf edge

Hi all, just making a custom worktop for my computer room out of a sheet of 8ft x 4ft Oak Veneered MDF. I've cut the shape out and I now want to finish the edge off. I would like it to be a veneered edge either of a similar oak or of a darker contrasting wood like walnut or, if I'm feeling...
