Another (maybe silly) question here. Having to use elbows for feed and return out of the woodburner (yes it heats water as well) due to no space, original plan was 1" straight to 28mm street bend. So, need to pack the threads on the woodburner- normally i'd use loads of ptfe and some boss white...

I have some of this tape left over and want to use it on a drinking water pipe: It only says "for all common gases and liquids" but not explicitly "for potable water" as the usual white stuff does. Is it safe? Just trying to save myself a trip to the shop!

Hi all, appreciate your help on this, I've a large new water tank in the garden. It has a 1" brass (female) outlet I screwed in a brass joint it leaked I unscrewed it, put ptfe around the thread, screwed it up again it still leaks What am I doing wrong?
