rads hot during hot water mode

New diverter valve and now radiators are warming up during hot water mode. It never used to do this with the old valve. Had to have a new diverter valve fitted (brass type) as the old was leaking. Now whenever I have a shower, I notice that the rads are getting hot. Not good for this kind of...
