After a power cut today my Scantronic 9427 panel 'Tamper' light is on. How can I clear it and make the alarm usable again? I have attempted to implement the factory reset process described on page 10 of the closest I can find to my panel, which is available on line here...

All was fine until we got a dog. Now we part set the house. When we part set we get a 30 exit tone from the unit which drives us batty at night. I have looked up ways to turn this off but can't see any does anyone have any thoughts? Any help would be much appreciated as if only one of us goes...
