solid wall insulation

Hi, We've got a narrow corridor outside out bathroom, and a rear bedroom as part of an extension which is solid wall and (a) gets really cold, and (2) suffers from damp. The damp problem has been resolved recently by having a PIV system installed, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice...
