Hi all,
Looking for some advice on next steps.
We had a new upvc window fitted to our basement in June last year that involved digging out a large section of earth, laying some stones in the base and bricking up the dug-out section (see photo 1).
However, in September we noticed mould...
Hello all, I'm wondering if anyone can advise how to solve the issue with the new UPVC window in our loft room? After recent stormy weather, we found it had been leaking from above the window on the left hand side, plus a bit of a stain in the middle (see pictures).

Hi all, I was cleaning the gutters, and while I was up on the ladder, I thought I'd check the windows. Our windows seems to have a large gaps above the frame. The mortar looks cracked and I believe this is our source of our water ingress and mould forming around the interior window frames and...

The internal gaskets on the windows are all wedge gaskets that can be removed fairly easily. I thought the...
Hello,
My uPVC window has suddenly become jammed. The lock mechanisms seem to slide out of, and the window opens about half a cm, and then seems to jam in the centre area below the handle (where there are no locking mechanisims).

Hi.

Evening,
I've a top hung upvc window which needs the hinges replacing.
I've done it before on smaller windows and side hung ones but this is fairly big and on the first floor.
A little nervous about unscrewing it and bringing it in to swap the hinges. Looks heavy.
Any tips?
