Hello I’m looking to fit a timed extractor. Newly plastered room. Like a muppet I’ve fitted 2 core and earth and have not taken a permanent feed from the light switch!?* What can I do? I do have a permanent feed on a spare fused spur near by off the ring I could connect into. Would that work?

My electrician has fitted our vent axia centra lo Carbon SELV HT fan. Upon turning the fan on it starts in trickle mode. The humidistat kicks in when the room becomes humid. But the light switch wired in as per the wiring diagrams does not activate the boost mode. Can anyone offer any advice...
