Just a quick one lads/lasses.

If you're not interested fine but I thought I'd let you know about this.

Minus is an online storage site. It allows you to store and share photos, videos, files etc. They're giving away 10GB of storage space free at the minute (they're a fairly new company), I have no idea if this offer will be restricted and/or stopped in the near future but it's free at the minute so nowt to lose.

He's the introductory link I've been given: http://min.us/rXULyFP

Blas.

i don't think you're allowed to advertise here
I have been a member of this site a while now, I'm well aware of what I can and cannot do here thank you.

You can't advertise on here. I'm not advertising, I'm doing what this site is all about, I'm providing information. There are many posts on here with links to various free and paid for products and services that will solve a multitude of issues. I have given a link to a site that provides a 10GB of free online storage. If you want/need to take advantage of that information great, if you don't, fine. It's no skin off my nose. I'm TRYING to be helpful here!

I never like sites / companies / services - whatever - that do not give contact details, just a web-form message as means of contacting them.

I'm probably being over-caucious but that's MY data they are holding!

I have given it a try. My web space is very limited so to store pictures on another site and just like to them is very handy.

I have used facebook in the past, but facebook is banned by so many colleges, schools and other organisations it's not ideal.

So now I have a few different sites I use. http://www.servimg.com is one and http://minus.com is now another. Also this forum and other forums which allow or in fact encourage one to use their space for images so there is not a problem in the future with links.

Anyway up to now there seems to be no problem with http://minus.com but I would not put up any photos which I do not want to be copied or anything to which I don't own the copy-write.

should not be visible by anyone but me. So can you see it?

In theroy you should get little square where picture should be. But I have an idea that there is nothing to stop you seeing picture if you have link and the only difference between public and private is finding the link in the first place.
Hence why I asked. It may log my ISP and details but the other site I use does not and once you have link address anyone can view it.

For what I have posted it's not a problem. But if one posted material which you didn't want to share then it may be a shock to find it in the public domain.

So I ask again can you see the picture?

Thanks nice to know. It is what I expected so I don't put on anything with copyright.

Really should have used HDR with that one. Was stretching it a bit too far to get view outside and corridor. You can see noise on corridor. Hence not on public view. But served well for experiment.

Let's be honest, people like comfort & discussing. Place the two together and you have a fantastic combination. Dropbox, used by lots of as a way associated with conveniently sharing documents has been 1 increased through Without, who began as a picture discussing application has been working hard re-vamping and upgrading their own software program. Supplying a whopping 10 gb of online space for storage free of charge as well as for a myriad of media. They even offer desktop applications with regard to Macintosh, Windows as well as Ie8. Also with a new refurbished Android App.
