the sander is sold in england as bosch 150gex turbo

You need an industrial 110v transformer usually sold for building sites where 110v tools are used. Available in B & Q and elsewhere. You will probably also need to change the plug to an industrial one.

get a suitable site transformer e.g.

get a 16A 110V industrial plug e.g.

Remove american plug from sander (or from an american extension lead if you preffer). and fit industrial plug

Plug sander into transformer.

BTW american color code is
black: live
white: neutral
green: earth
