2 way light socket

just replacing a light switch from a dimmer switch. problem is the remaining light switch has just 2 connectors the new light switch has 3(ground) all wires are hooked up. I only have 2 wires remaining should i unhook one of the grounds from the box and move it to the light switch?

Are you completely sure the extra terminal is a ground terminal? If it is you should not move one of the grounds to this terminal, you would put a new link between the existing 2 grounds in the box and the ground terminal on the faceplate. (Is it a metal switch?)
If you are not sure it is a ground terminal then we may see the flash from here if you connect to it.
