Some of you may remember me posting about having cam belt changed on my 2007 1.4 Petrol Fiesta.
Well, I took it to my local garage and had it changed alomg with water pump and alternator belt.
One month later car breaks down with the following report from AA man:
"Patrol found the following fault code/s:System : Global OBD II - 89V / Global OBD II Status P0341 - Camshaft position sensor A(bank 1). Error Message : Outside specified range. Fault pending. We have recovered your vehicle.Engine Oil Level Ok. Coolant Level Ok. Timing, out"
To say I'm not happy is an understatement.
Just concerned now that the engine could be ruined as a result.
Going to be in touch with the garage first thing tomorrow.
Thought I'd post here to ask for any recommended guidance (apart from don't use that garage again) to build up my ammo for them tomorrow and to ask what the chances are that the engine is ruined.
Thanks
