Hi
I want to replace a 3 wire Sunvic/Honeywell TX2259 thermostat with a 2 wire Neomitis RT0.
I've read a number of posts which look like they explain the wiring requirements but I just wanted to make sure.
The current 3 wires are Brown=Live (connection 3), Blue=Neutral (connection 4), and Yellow=Switched Live (connection 1).
As I understand it, the Neutral will no longer be needed. The live should connect to the Common and the Switched should connect to the NO (normally open).
Is this correct?
Any help would be appreciated. Thankls

Yes in the main neutral is not used with battery powered thermostats, it is a case of either looking at old one or down loading installation instructions to be 100% sure, but I have never seen the NC used with a wall thermostat, however it does need reading.

Most thermostats NO is heating on and NC is cooling on, however there are exceptions, the Flomasta 6259G for example uses dip switches so the NO and NC can be swapped around. As to Com and NO in most cases does not matter which is supply and which feeds the boiler.

Thanks for that.
On the Neomitis diagram the NO connection states "normally open switch out (call for heating)" which I assume to be the old Yellow/Switched Live.
