45 Degree rule.

Hi Guys,

I am planning a 2 story rear extension to my mid terraced freehold house in Enfield London (en2 postcode). It's going to have a depth of 3 meters (within permitted development). Will the 45 Degree rule apply? If yes maximum depth will be around 2 meters. Can anyone please help?

Are you going down PD or formal/Full Planning? If it’s the former, the 45 degree rule is irrelevant.

I am not sure if it makes a difference but we plan to do a 2 storey while the other thread is about a single storey.

Its the same thing, if it permitted development then its permitted, no application no, no council involvement no council policies to adhere to.
