a 1 year old system malfunctioning! please help!

hi all,
I have a brand new (ish) intruder alarm system, the texecom veritas r8.

I have little to no knowledge on intruder alarms,
my system got replaced last year, July.
and they put the same one, just newer.

now again, it's having issues.

I woke up, in the middle of the night to my alarm going off.

when it was going off, only the outside bells were ringing. they turned off after 30 minutes of waiting
as the keypad was unresponsive, now it's turned on and a tamper light is lit.

keep in mind it's almost brand new.

the tamper LED was lit up red, assuming then its a 'tamper' issue.

. it is unresponsive and annoyingly, the installer company closed down, I am now unable to call them up.

I had a recent fault on my Texecom, key panels were unresponsive and internal sounders and external siren sounding

It was a fault on the main panel, the mender said it was caused by the PSU and there had been multiple problems, caused by "a bad batch"

Do the keys bleep when pressed ? Did it go off internally when the external bell rang ? or was it just the external bell ringing ? As this would point to issues with the external bellbox …was that replaced with the new control panel ?

Un responsive and a year old, but its a like for like replacement.

Was the back up battery replaced when the unit was swapped out?

Hi all, thanks for your help, we luckily got it fixed.

I seem to be on here so many times as my shop alarm now has an issue ha!
But about this one, a new installer company came round and said that the "R" wire on the keypad terminals came loose..
And that half of the cables were damaged.
