is it feasible that posts deleted 'in the heat of the moment' could conceivably be re-instated after reasoned consideration?

The reason i ask is i often get the mail about a thread being updated, but when you click on it, it will say "this post no long exists"....

:shock: oh i think i may have answered my own question.... is it just a post that is deleted? hmmm???
 
They can be but it depends what was done with them. I doubt any mods save anything.

The main reason for this is when a spam post has been deleted. It doesn't mean the topic has been deleted just that post.
