Ok I am a beginner so may not get the terminology right so apologies in advance(part of the battle with DIY is know what questions to ask(the other part is know who to ask)) but from reading other posts I think I am in the right place. So hope you can help me

as the Title suggest I have and existing Ideal Vogue C32 combo boiler which I am controlling with Hive. I deliberately got an oversized boiler for the house because I knew that I would be extending the property. In one of the extensions I intend to install Under floor Heating.

I also have an existing Hive thermostat and receiver.

I can see that the boiler can accommodate an additional zone(will add a picture).

From my attempts at research I am pretty sure I need to add another thermostat and receiver(I am probably going to need help with the wiring later) but on the plumbing side I am uncertain how to extend the pipe work.
My thinking is that I need to add a loop for the UFH with an actuator valve?
Or do I need to add two actuator valves one for the CH and one for UFH?
If I need to add two actuator valves then I suspect that I will need to add a bypass in case both actuators are closed?
I am guessing I need two actuators if I want to control the CH and UFH independently

As I said I will need help with the wiring but will cover this topic later when I know which of the options I should go with from above.

I have attached pictures from the installation guide

Please let me know if you need more information

Thank you so much in advance for your help

Have noticed that very few posts go unanswered in this forum so there must be something wrong. Is there too little detail or do I need to break the question down a little bit more.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Im not a plumber, my UFH, has a separator programmer/thermostat. The pipe work is Teed from the CH supply had is controlled through a motorised valve.
Not certain how its all wired, but if CH demand then boiler will fire if UFH is demand boiler will fire, both work independently.
If this doesn't help, then I have at least 'bumped' the post.

Thank you DIYISFUN that sounds exactly what I need to do if anyone can help with the wiring for adding UFH with a motorised valve using Zone 2. I am guessing that using Zone 2 will trigger the boiler and the motorised valve will control the flow but if I want to have them running both independently or both at the same time then I guess I need to add a valve for the CH too?

I would say that there is one for the CH, ie its CH or Hot water.
Wait for an expert, there are plenty that will help.

The vogue has 2 switched live in terminals which can have a feed from different zones. Only issue is SL1 takes priority so would default to the SL1 temperature control if both were calling for heat at the same time.
You can just wire both into SL1 and let the blending valve turn down water flow temp to 50-55 in ufloor circuit.
You would still need two zone valves( s plan) and an auto bypass-valve
