Advice -External 110mm Drago/Air Admittance Valve?

Hi all

Can anyone recommend an external 110mm air admittance valve.

One that can be easily maintained.
Push fit preferably as it can just be removed/replaced if any problems.

Plus needs to be white.

Why can't you use an open vent?

My parents bungalow and they don’t like the look of it protruding out past eaves!!

Purely for cosmetic reasons.

It’s protrudes out past waves at Approx 6” above head height.
Right back back door/new steps patio etc.

Just looks awful.

Is the drain vented elsewhere, or is that the only stack? If so not leaving it open vent could cause problems.

If this is an existing stack and has always been open vented, I strongly advise you leave it that way. Capping the stack with an AAV may cause more issues than it solves.

That’s what i I said but neighbours all have it??

It is very unsightly and easily accessible for maintenance/freezing.

All the neighbours have AAV's? Even more reason to keep yours the way it is, the main shared drain needs to be vented by at least one open vented stack, if everyone else on the shared drain has an AAV then yours may be the only one venting the drain and unfortunately have missed the boat.

It’s now been cut lower with standard cowl on top.
Looks better. No problems with any smells so far.
If it dies happen then I’ll just put it back.
