Hello I could do with some advice on changing my analogue stat for a Salus RT500rf.

I have a Worcester boiler and my hope was to simply swap over and run a sep mains to the same source as the boiler and then use the existing wiring for the stat to Salus. My boiler has an analogue programmer that wont work no more when trying to have it timed(one of the dodgy click times). This can be bypassed and perm on for the CH but i cant keep leaving the heating on all night so the house is warm when I'm getting up. The programmer is only for the CH and doesn't affect water.

My hope was to just use the Salus as the timing and replace the existing analogue stat. Plus in the process being able to control from what ever room I'm in.

I have looked at the board in the boiler where the wiring is and taken a picture, as well as the current set up for the stat I'm replacing.

Boiler LR seems to be an earth cable and goes to the 3 on the current stat;
(Blue)NS goes to N on the stat,
(Brown)LS goes to L on the stat.

I will be running a separate line for live and neutral on the salus into the existing fuse box for the boiler (located next to the boiler).

I'm slightly confused with the manual, the Salus only states to wire 2 (L and N) what do I do with the LR? What is the correct wiring that should be done?

Could someone help please
