Hi everyone. New poster here so I hope this is the right part of the forum.
I’m hoping for a bit of advice/reassurance on a new crack that’s just appeared all of a sudden this week. It’s above a window on the second floor (back) of a 1930s end terrace.
In summer of 2022 the window was replaced and then the shutters were put on, and then a few months later we had a loft conversion done.
Without knowing any better I’m hoping this is just a crack due to the loft settling but I think I’m a bit thrown by how quickly it has appeared this week.
On the second photo you can see the lower bit of the wall protudes outwardly slightly under the crack whereas on the left hand side the crack is more of a gap. There is a slight bit of movement if I push the bit that protudes.
Do I just fill and repaint or is this something I should be more concerned about?
