I have a ducting pipe connects to an exhaust fan that goes all the way touching air bricks to let the steam out of the shower. Would I need to remove the air bricks and put a duct grill or air bricks would do the job? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
You could leave air brick if there is a shutter on the fan or ducting to prevents back drafts .

There is no shutter. But its a continuous volume fan that remains on all the time (wish I had known this before electrian fixed it) the fan has humidistat built in as well? Even the duct cover has only got the open grills and not the shutter that closes down.

You may find an airbrick gives too much back pressure, due to the small holes - could you run a masonry drill through them, to enlarge them?
It will also be important to ensure the duct for the fan, through the wall is carefully sealed so that all of the moist air goes out.

Thank you for your advice. The fan duct is just pushed all the way touching the airbrick and the airbrick has not been sealed by the electrician. The holes are big enough as well
