Alarms - Wireless v Hard wired

Can anyone give me advice on the type of alarm I should go for?
The house is a 3 bed mid terraced but I have cornice all around and thought I might need to go for the wireless type. Is there a particular brand to go for ?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hard wired
The wireless ones are a waste of space, if you search the forum you'll probably find they are not very well liked at all.

Looking at other forums most experienced fitters would go for the hard wired. Seems to be a lot of false alarms with the wireless type.

Out of choice yes id agree go with wired and avoid the diy type wireless, but decent wireless kit is available that while not as good as wired is far better then low security, easy to configure wireless. But it does have its issus that wired doesnt, but then it doesnt have wires lol

but unlike wired it needs batteries changing and lots of them once a year = kerching £
