Is it all White on the night?

Does this work on a one hote person within the industry or do the wider public get a vote?

Maybe do but is it a voting system or a panel of judges
It’s voted for by members of BAFTA. 37.4% of current members are women, 12.2% are from minority ethnic groups, 5.3% have a disability, 9.7% are LGBTQ

Perhaps they'll have a chance when they host the BBTAs
Every year.

So 35.4 are white heterosexual men?
Yep. Could be 354 out of 1000 or 3540 out of 10,000. Pure white, heterosexual, male and with all their fingers and toes. That’s not even a majority. Some of the members could be ethnic, gay and disabled so may have been counted more than once. Funny thing, statistics….

What is panel of the MOBO awards made up of? A while back, white artists won most of the awards, caused a bit of consternation.
The variety of members shouldn't be an issue - they judge the content on the quality, not the colour.
To imply otherwise is to suggest an unconscious bias in the selected personnel, which is no longer an acceptable perception for anyone, regardless of colour or creed.

If the panel are within the industry they could well be friends with each other. Such a pretentious bunch of people I can imagine alot of voting for closest friends.
