Anyone know how to ad apps to a phone, any |I have located ask me to sign in, but to what?

Create a GMAIL account, log into said GMAIL account on your phone, then run MARKET

Voila!!!

Android phones really need to be linked to a Google account to get the benefits

If you don't want to, then it is possible to copy the .apk files across to the phone via a usb cable, or direct downlaod. Then if the built in file manager will not run the .apk file (ie install it) then you need to get hold of another file manager such as "Astro"
