"I think" is opinion not evidence

the rest of your post is built on just your opinion
you mean the same words " i think" that your tax expert used .. Glad we cleared that up

HMRC have 20 years to come after anyone who fails to notify and pay capital gains tax
you dont know whether the HMRC will take the view she failed to notify

conjecture

so not 20 years just "possibly 20 years, could be 4 years"

Black Britons
First black MPs:
James Townsend, Whig MP for Calne, 1782-87
John Stewart, Tory MP for Lymington, 1832-47
Henry Redhead Yorke, Whig MP for City of York, 1841-48
Peter McLagan, Liberal MP for Linlithgowshire, 1865-93
they werent black

Bernie Grant, Labour MP for Tottenham, 1987–2000
Paul Boateng, Labour MP for Brent South, 1987–2005
Diane Abbott, Labour MP for Hackney North and Stoke Newington, 1987–present
you havent said which was first

right wingers are so desperate to point score, poor little lambs

We do, because she said

As with the majority of ordinary people who sell their own homes, I was not liable for capital gains tax because it was my home and the only one I owned.

Which we know is incorrect and confirms that she was under the incorrect opinion that she did not need to notify HMRC of the sale of her now investment property. Failure to notify and failure to pay 20 year time limit

I did. #517. Here it is again:
"Way past the midnight hour on June 12th, 1987, the BBC cameras were in place at Haringey Town Hall to see Bernie Grant become MP for Tottenham. Shortly after their election coverage relayed the news that Paul Boeteng had triumphed in Brent South and to complete the hat-trick, Diane Abbott won her seat in Hackney North".

So, Diane Abbot was the third black MP to be elected that night.

She is still claiming it was her main home. AFAIK.

In 1992, a black Conservative candidate stood for the safe Conservative seat of Eastbourne.

For the first time since 1950, Eastbourne did not elect the Conservative candidate.

Racism more important to them.

...and that is why the story continues in the news.

She was married at the time of her disposal. They jointly are allowed one home and only one home (for CGT purposes). At no point does she argue that her husband moved in to her property. In fact all the evidence suggests it was the other way around.

It's always possible that they just didn't fancy him as their M.P. and there was no racism involved.

I think you will find the Conservatives having had not 1, or 2, but 3 female PMs and the first British Asian prime minister have a better track records than labour. Not to mention Antisemitism has been and still appears to be a big issue in the current Labour Party.
