Aqualisa Quartz Electric Shower 9.5kW issue

Hi All,

Wondering if someone may be able to help me. I have recently had to replace the engine in my Aqualisa Quartz Electric Shower 9.5kW after the last one failed.

The part is a like for like replacement however since installing I am getting very low hot pressure and an inconsistent hot flow, it's not quite stuttering but almost a little pulse every 5-8 seconds. The cold water flow is strong with or without the shower head.

Things worth noting or have tried:

• Commissioned as per Aqualisa manual
• Brand new genuine part
• Mains fed (not storage tank)
• Cold water pressure at the inlet is 3 (ish) bar
• Issue persists without shower head

I am just at a bit of a loss as to what's causing it, would love to know if anyone has any suggestions.

Hi Blup,

I don't think so, there was a little when commissioning but cleared up quickly and I would be expecting it to do this on cold if there were unless I'm mistaken as it's only a cold feed?

Probably worth pursuing it as a defect under the aquilisa warranty.
