Talking to a know all the other day who informed me that he knew a few people over the years who had lost fingers in the use of a router.
I have never heard this one and wondered if anybody else had.
Obviously I have one and am slightly concerned that I could suffer the same fate

like any tool used wrongly / the wrong way without care/ ppe any tool can be dangerous

heeelllooo bahco

i agree with bacardi
you could loose a finger in eeeehhh an ironing board 8)
ive never known a person to loose a didget
with a router you would have trouble loosing a didget
you drop a router it may cause injury if it falls onyour leg

if you let it drop your either[ how can we put it]inexperienced
or stupid then you shouldnt handle a power tool
without taking precausions

big all

had another thought on this one

it would be possible to do seriouse finger nibbling if you were to
mount it underneath as a spindle molder you could possibly
stumble onto the badly protected cutter and :D :) :(

Doc in a casualty dept told me that circular saws were giving them most work. A router could make a nasty hole.

Spindle moulders make you go all gooey if you dangle your tie in them.
