Putting aside having to get out of bed early (e.g. for work) and thinking about when you more naturally want to get up and go to bed, would you class yourself as a morning or evening person? Examples, a morning person might quite happily get up between 6am - 8am but come 9pm-11pm they need to hit the sack. An evening person might quite happily get up between 10am-12pm and might not need to hit the sack until after midnight even into the early hours.

I'm definitely more of an evening person. When I'm off work I'm rarely up before 11am however I'll stay up until 1am-3am.

In the colder weather, I like to be in bed early and stay in bed a little late in the morning - unless I have a reason to be up. Come the warmer weather, I tend to rise earlier and go to bed later - what does that make me?

Hate laying in bed. Like to get up and get on.

In the past if I couldn't sleep I'd get up at 2am and go to work.

All this is by d by at the moment with my recovery. Friday I slept all day. This never sits comfortably with me.

Sum it all up I love the early hours.

I've always liked to get up with the lark.
Any time after 6a.m feels late to me.
I found it difficult on 12-hour shifts when i became a night owl, though.
I like owls.
They're a h00t.

Our local football team were called the Owls

We are the owls hoot hoot hoot hoot
We are the owls hoot hoot hoot hoot
We are the owls hoot hoot hoot hoot.

The song would go

Most definitely a morning person. The weekends are my two days away from work and I hate having to cram everything into them, so we get up with enough time to make the most of the day. Cannot understand how people have 'lie ins' and don't get out of their bed before 11am.

If we have to do the dreaded shopping or head out to get something, we're there for when the shop opens. If we're out walking in God's country, we're pulling up at 9am. No traffic, no morons on the road, bliss...

Yeah it's one of those things where there are no hard and fast rules, although broadly I think folk fall into one or other category.

So let's call you a morneven person, morningevening ;)
