Has anyone found a good method of attaching trellis to concrete fence posts?
The reason I ask is that many of my clients have concrete fence posts with fence panels slotted in. I always suggest they paint the panels and the concrete, but it still looks pretty boring and stark until plants have grown up in the borders.
With timber fence posts, I suggest they put trellis panels up - a few colourful climbers - instant interest.
I assume that if you try to drill into a concrete post the concrete will crack off the reinforcing rod. Even if it doesn't fall apart at that point, if water gets in the reinforcement will rust and the whole thing will fall apart later.
Any ideas??
