Hi,
the wiring near the passenger door hinges has broken with the central locking in ’locked’ position. Any ideas how I can open the door to fix it please?

Normally the door card is ripped away which gives you access to the door inside.....but auto locksmiths may have more nefarious methods of entry!
I’d try this option first!

Hi John, thanks for your reply. The trouble is there is a big screw on the underside of the door card but I'll give it a try once our current bout of rain stops ...

Have a trip to Liverpool and anyone on the street will be able to open it for you in 30 seconds.

Now, seriously.
Maybe obvious, but have you tried using the key in the lock like we used to do before technology kicked in?

definitely asking for trouble
Yes, unfortunately there is only one keyhole on the driver side & it has no effect on the passenger door.

Accessing the hidden screw under the door handle is a bit tricky …
Someone suggested I watch The Italian Job for ideas.

The door kindly opened by itself today.
Thanks to Burnerman & Johnny 2007 for their input.
