Got back from Ireland today after 6 of us of various trades renovated a bungalow. We had a total of 8 days work on it & took everything we needed in a 7.5tonne lorry. I was doing the electrics. Heres the before pics

It had 3 bedrooms which were carpeted & repainted

When we arrived the power had been disconnected & we needed to get a registered electrician in that area to give us a certificate otherwise the power wouldnt be switched back on. We hired an old generator which is all we could get & did all the work off that. It definately struggled when the kettle was boiled.

This is the CU when we got there

The electrician agreed to let me do the work that he wasnt happy with but he wanted things like the sink bonded in 10mm which i didnt agree with but had to do it.

Then he fitted a new CU which I think he has fitted a couple of CB's which are too low an amperage but he wasnt having none of it. The shower was a 9.5KW.

Looks like a few long days gone in there.
Floor tiles are a bit out (not easy with tiles that size though). Looks smart. :)

I agree, the tiles were a bit out. We didnt take enough latex to even the floor up. Should have used about 20 bags & done the whole floor. Shouldnt stick out too much once the furniture is in. It has ended up a very nice traditional Irish holiday home.
