Backberry to Motorola migration

I want to transfer my contacts from BB to Motorola. Unfortunately the redbox at my local vodafone shop has been out of order for about 6 weeks!
I was told i could do this just by using two data cbles connect to each phone to PC. Tried but no joy, I have tried the motorola migration tool but it will not upload to my BB handset.

Does anyone have any idea how this is done?

Basic method would be to ensure all contacts are on sim and use a sim reader to transfer.

Unfortunately BB don't have that facility to copy contacts to sim.

Follow up on my post.
I have contacted Vodafone tech advice.
Seems the two handsets are incompatible and can only be synced via red box and not via migration software or data cables.

So a big thank you, to the manager of the Vodafone shop, that has led me on a wild goose chase for the last 6 weeks!
