Basic French lighting question

I have enclosed a drawing of a simple lighting circuit , my question is , is it ok to connect the earth and neutral inside the pattress box with connectors as I am then using the 3 core black to run to the lamp instead of singles in gaine

If the box remains accessible you can use any connectors.

I actually meant was it ok to have joints in the cable in the surface mounted pattress box behind the switch instead of having to run cables from yet another junction box to the switch not the type of connection
