Next project is getting the bathroom done and to try and break up the square room, we're considering a feature wall similar to below. Plan is to create a stud wall maybe 1000x100mm in the centre of the existing wall to tile differently and hang the vanity on, and we are considering LED strips down either side to give the floating illusion.
My question is, from a tiling perspective, how does it work for the edges? Using the below example, our doorway would be on the right so as you enter the room, your eye would catch the gap between the front of the feature wall and the original wall, and I can only imagine the cursing I'll get from the tiler if it's an awkward job to tile.
