Hi we've not long moved into our new house which has a back boiler heating system and a baxi Bermuda 50/3 inset. The hot water has never been an issue(infact it's probably too hot) but we now have no heating, obviously at the moment it's difficult to get anyone to come out with lockdown on but any advice for anything we can do to potentially get things working again would be very helpful.
The pilot light ignites but can't hear it firing up.

I've attached images of boiler

That is the Hot Water tank, (cant call it a cylinder as it isn't!) It had a thermostat fitted to control the HW temp, but looks like the wire has been cut? Any sign of motorised valve(s) on the system? Looking for one of these

or 2 of these

I have never seen two hot water tanks ? (why aren't they cylinders?) plumbed in like that, your also looking for a pump somewhere on the pipework.
commonly known as Dublo HW cylinders, they were used when space was a problem with standard cylinders, common with fire and BBU installations, and yes will be a pump or valve problem

Thanks everyone, the wire to the hot water tank hasn't been cut, it goes under the carpet to a switch on the wall. I've had a look and can't see any pumps or valves.

you have a cylinder thermostat so you have some form of valve system, you definately have a pump, they might be under the floor in the lounge where your BBU is , or is there a boxed in section to one side of where the BBu is ?
