Beko DE2542FW drain hose removal

Trying and failing at removing my Beko dishwashers waste hose. Any help?

Does it not unscrew or perhaps a quarter turn to lock/ release it.

Not that I’ve been able to do! Doesn’t seem to budge at all, nor with pliers.

Might need more than pliers, perhaps water pump grips.
