Ive got a Movano M2 H2 Semi auto. 14 plate from new. Been a really good van, Ive had it professionally racked out so will more than likely keep till it dies now.

Problems:
Side door bleeps as if door censers do not meet. This disables the on board computer. Had this problem from new. had it repaired again and again.
heater packed up and replaced.
Steering wheel lock replaced.

A nice van to drive.

Also 08 Plate Traffic Sport from new.
56 plate Vauxhall combo that needs to be sold.

I've got an old builders car at the moment but it's not really practical. It'll see me through finishing this refurb but if I get beyond this to another project I'll need something a bit more "builderlike"

It doesn't look professional turning up in a car to do a 40 grand extension for someone

If you can bear the colour then Ex BG Caddy Maxi. FSH and muliple charging points and one really nice touch is the battery isolater if you live or work in high risk areas. Also big lock on the rear doors.

It really doesn't does it! Image is so important when you're trying to get a job. I expect even the clothes you wear make a difference as well!

When pricing a job I will not go in my car and try to park so that the customer can see my van and if I get the chance to show off the set up in the back of van then I will.

Plumbers always seem to drive VWs

What sort of set up in the van have you?

Is it my imagination or is the flashy plumbers who always seem to be driving the VW either Transporter or the bigger Crafter?
Crafter is a tad large for the average plumber and a lot of flashy vans are often leased by newly launched companies that dont last the first year.

So the Crafter is the equivalent of the Mercedes sprinter

I hadn't thought about that. Yeah I suppose the Crafter is the equivalent of the Mercedes sprinter. At one time I believe they used to share the same bodies but I'm not sure if they still do. It seems the way the big companies work now all sharing resources etc

Share chassis
