I'm going to try and lay some grey Indian sandstone slabs next week with my dad and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good jointing compound?

Dad thinks we should use a 4:1 mix but we want the colour grey do people use dye's?

I was going to order some geo-fix mix and just brush it in then use a jointer

I'm torn between geo-fix and easyjoint

My dad would rather do it himself says its a waste of money but if the mixes save me time I don't mind paying extra

It really couldn’t be easier than geo-fix.

Just check it’s suitable for your type of slabs.

If using a jointing compound i would use a 2 part type, Geofix has a bad reputation as well as other 1 part resins.
Sand and cement pointing is the best, but not easy for a novice to do properly, also in areas that you use pressure washers a lot sand and cement will hold a lot better than resin, and 1 part resins are easily stained with algae etc.
