It's for checking and re-pressurising a few now and again. One offish work more or less.Are you looking to do this when working on boilers or just as a one off on your own boiler ?
Lazy...you not kidding.what a prat on.Regin to a pump with a long hose but after three failing in about a year I gave up with them, I am a professional gas engineer so I use mine a lot , I use one of these there are a lot of different makes.

You can use any kind of pump really but I find one of these makes life so much easier as it is a lot easier to get to the shraeder valve and has a non-return valve so makes connecting and disconnecting a lot easier no matter what you are using as a pump.

That one seems quite expensive it is just to show you what it is, I think I paid about £7 for mine, get one of those and as said you can use anything to use as a pressure pump I am just lazy and like the powered method

Rab I had 3 and everyone the diaphragm burst on them , the quality was total crap, couldnt recommend them to anyoneShame that, you must have got some duffers. I've had my Regin stirrup pump for nearly 3 years now without any issues.

I seem to remember Lidl or maybe Aldi at one time selling one exactly the same as Regin one but was only £5, same with that wee rechargeable one I use regin want £70 for their one they are exactly the sameHairy Muff mate, you can only go on what you get
