After much trial and error, I've made an XP installation CD with an answer file (WINNT.SIF) on it - and it works. The problem is that it's on a rewritable and I'd prefer to have it on CDR.
Now I can see two ways to do this:
1) Use Nero to make an exact copy of the disc.
2) Use Isobuster to extract the boot file and Explorer to read everything else then use Nero to write a bootable CD. (This is how I made the original.)
What I want to know is if there's any difference, in terms of data integrity, between the two methods? Any help will be gratefully received.
