On bifold doors what type and where is the best place to position the alarm contacts?
It is a 4 door confusion. Door 2 is master and bifolds onto 3 and 4, door 1 can be opened when master is opened. Hope this makes sense.

They not yet delivered. It something like this but main traffic door is door 2 so that opens before door 1.

2 door contacts required. One on each opening leaf.
Your other posts suggests you have no spare zones. How are you going to connect / install?
Sounds like you need to have a zone expander fitted to expand your control panel.

I have a cable from door/window combination from before extending.
One cable came to the window location and that went to magnetic contact in widow and from there to magnetic contact in nearby door. I plan to extend this cable to the bifold door location and daisy chain contacts for the doors as your advice. Sound right?

Good look fitting that in your door ?
I was thinking to use more appropriate contacts but with same daisy chain. Something like these? Please don't tell me that these are EOL and can't be daisy chained or something like that!!!

Your control panel is EOL.
why do you what to daisy chain ?
EOL is more secure
You will require 2 zones for daisy chain.one for alarm pair and one for tamper circuit.
More than one door contact on zone can be a nightmare when fault finding daisy chain wired.
When your bi fold door is closed there will be a gap between the door frame and top/side of the door Your contact will need a strong magnet to work will large gaps.

I wouldn't even consider buying any contacts for the door untill it is fitted , you need to check how it opens and what size top and side headers are available first .....it's no good buying a large contact at 25mm wide when you only have 20mm to play with. ....

And how does a contact trigger the alarm when the glass is smashed as a means of entry? One Elmdene SC570 to the opening leaf maybe, but I would suggest a Honeywell Viper or Texecom Impaq vibration sensor/s fitted top middle of doors.

do the vibrating sensors need more than 2 cables?
