Hi there, first post here!

So I've just bought a reposessed house with what I thought was not much work on it.

The garage for some reason doesn't have a proper floor on it. I've been trawling the internet with what to do, and just want to make sure I've got it right.

Is the process a layer of dpm, insulation boards, upstand perimeter insulation and then a screed on top.

The garage will only be used for a home gym and possibly the odd bit of car maintenance if it's raining.

Thanks!

A garage is usually outside the insulated layer of the house. If you are able to put a car in, it has to be lower t than the main house floor. If you do want to insulate, you would have to do the walls as well and special attention to the door which is usually draughty.
