I accidentally picked up one of their specification bananas by mistake yesterday. I thought I’d eat it anyway and guess what? Yep, it was bitter.

Never seen one of them in tesco, but apparently they are graded in different classes, so its still legal to sell the bendy ones, despite taking back control. Plus the mile, pound, pint and troy ounce have also survived the oven ready deal and the bonfire of eu regulations
 
We always used to joke that if someone was useless they couldn't get a job streightening bent bananas
