Boiler outer flue not sealed

Hi, decorating the kitchen and noticed the outer flue of the boiler appears to have a gap.

Is this normal?

no ,that collar should cover it and be screwed in position,needs urgent attention

NO that needs to go off immediately, the inner flue will need inspected and if ok then the sealing collar that has been slid along the flue towards the wall needs to be fitted properly but only after the inner flue has been properly inspected

As above... Turn it off. Keep it off. Get an rgi out.
