I used to get my jobs by explaining HOW I was going to run the cables so they wouldn't be seen.

used to? what happened?

he explained it too well and lost his advantage? LOL - horses for courses Joe, I have always done things one way, you may use another but neither makes either of us a cowboy ( you wouldn`t believe the history of my " little " company ) - think before making judgement

One more please ;)

Was looking at the house over the weekend, and instead of running the cables under the floor (concrete floor) and up the walls, i thought it would be better to run them up through airing cupboards into the loft, then down through built in wardrobes through to both the first floor and ground floor.

This way i can position them not facing windows/radiators and have nearly no cables showing at all.

Question is.....

- Is there a limit to the length of cable i can run for each sensor? I guessing at about 10+m per cable, will this affect the efficiency of the sensor?

Thanks again

Thanks guys, in that case i will probably leave the alarm till the new year :)

Im about to fit new flooring throughout the whole house and was going to rush the alarm in before the floor.

Thank you all for the great advice
